A Local Alternative to Factor.

Factor is a good meal service that ships across the country. If you live in Utah County, there is a local option cooked in Orem every Saturday. Here is how the two compare, with Factor's facts taken from its own site and dated October 12, 2026. We are not affiliated with Factor.

Shipped nationwide, or cooked down the road.

Factor makes meals fresh to order and ships boxes to the 48 contiguous states. Gainz Train cooks once a week in Orem and hands you the food on Sunday, either at the kitchen or at your door in Utah County. Same idea (cooked meals, no cooking), different logistics, and a different price.

The comparison, checked October 12, 2026.

Pick the one that fits your week.

Factor is the better fit if you live outside Utah County, want options labeled keto, vegetarian or vegan, or want meals that keep a full 7 days. You also never have to be home or plan a pickup window.

Gainz Train is the better fit if you live in Utah County, want a lower price per meal, like food cooked the day before you get it, and want to see the macros of every meal before you order. You can pick up free in Orem on Sunday, 10:00am–1:00pm, or pay a flat $10 to $25 a week for delivery.
