Utah Meal Prep Prices Compared.

What a meal costs from the main Utah meal prep services, read from each company's own website on October 20, 2026, with the source and the date next to every number. We are Gainz Train, one of them, and we say so below. We refresh these prices every month. Prices checked October 20, 2026.

At the same weekly size, we came out lowest per meal.

On October 20, 2026, at 6, 12 and 18 meals a week, Gainz Train listed $10.50, $9.50 and $8.50 a meal. Factor listed $13.49, $11.99 and $10.99 a serving. Pete's Meals listed $15.83, $13.33 and $12.22. Fed Up Kitchen, 1% Fitness and Avant sell different plan sizes, so they have their own table further down. At the sizes they list, Gainz Train was lower per meal in every row we read. This covers only the services whose own sites showed a price we could read that day (others are listed under "Left out" below), so it is not a ranking of every Utah option.

Protein: Gainz Train meals average about 45 g of protein, which works out to about 4.3 to 5.3 g of protein per dollar. Factor and Pete's do not publish an average on the pages we read, so we do not calculate a figure for them.

Same week size, three prices.

Each number is the per-meal price the company shows for that plan size. Shipping and delivery are not included here; they are in the next table.

Fed Up Kitchen, 1% Fitness and Avant, at the sizes they sell.

These three do not sell the same 6, 12 and 18 meal weeks, so each row uses the plan size they list. The last column is what Gainz Train charges per meal at the same size. Weekly price divided by meals is the per-meal figure. Read October 20, 2026.

Fed Up Kitchen: slc.fedupkitchen.com/meal-plans (Sugarhouse store page, 4-week plan shown as a per-week price, no account needed). Its location page lists stores in Holladay, Salt Lake City, South Ogden, Syracuse and St. George plus a Woods Cross delivery location, and none in Utah County. 1% Fitness (Lehi): 1percentfit.com/products/createmeal and 1percentfit.com/products/value-box; one-time prices, not the 20 percent subscribe discount, except where noted. Avant (Salt Lake City, delivers Salt Lake County, Park City, north to Layton and south to Orem): avantdelivery.co/products/easy-6 and easy-8-value-meal-deal. Avant's are set bundles of its menu items, not a build-your-own week. Portions differ by company (calories per meal, protein) and delivery or shipping fees are not included, so a lower price does not mean the same meal.

Add delivery, and here is the total.

The same math at other week sizes, with Gainz Train's $10 delivery zone (Orem, Provo, Lindon, Vineyard, Pleasant Grove) and Factor's $12.99 shipping spread across the meals. At 6 meals: Gainz Train $73.00 with delivery ($12.17 a meal) against Factor $93.93 ($15.66). At 14 meals: Gainz Train $129.00 ($9.21) against Factor $173.85 ($12.42), from Factor's $11.49 per serving at 14 meals. Pickup in Orem is free, so Gainz Train is $10.50 and $8.50 a meal at those sizes without delivery.

Factor shipping: factor75.com/plans. Factor also advertises first-box discounts; this page uses regular prices only. Gainz Train serves Utah County; Pete's Meals serves the Salt Lake City area; Factor ships to the 48 contiguous states, so these services do not all reach the same address.

Protein per dollar: only where it is published.

Price per gram of protein is the price per meal divided by grams of protein per meal. We only do that math where the company or we can state the protein number. A minimum is not an average, so we do not divide Factor's 30 g floor into its price and call it a result.

Cooking it yourself costs less.

Groceries cost less than any prepared meal. The USDA prices a nutritious diet cooked at home; we added the 20 percent it says to add for a one-person household and divided by 21 meals a week.

Who is not in the table, and why.

We only list a service when its own public site showed a price we could read on October 20, 2026. These are not in a table:

If you run a Utah meal prep company and want to be added, or a number here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

How we got these numbers.

Price per meal is the price each company shows on its own pricing page for that plan size, on the date shown. Shipping and delivery are listed separately. Regular prices only: no promo codes, first-box discounts or add-ons. Each service has its own meal sizes, menus and areas, so a lower price does not mean the same meal.

This page was made by Gainz Train, which is one of the services in the table. We read the other companies' numbers straight off their sites and show where. Prices change often, so check each company's site before you order. We refresh these prices every month; the last check was October 20, 2026. If a company changes its price between checks, the date on this page tells you how old our number is.
